We Loooove burritos, and this is one of our all-time-favourite meals with the Smokey Cashew block!

I actually have my own way of making burritos, which I'm about to share with you.

To tell you the truth, in the past I couldn't even wrap them properly: stuff kept falling out! But I've been practicing, and the results are way better now.

Red beans are my favourite, flavourful kind of beans, they work amazing with some Smokey Cashew cheese and avocado.

One thing I always do with my wraps is adding lots of greens and beans. Why wouldn't I, - they're so nutritious... and tasty, so win-win!

What I never do is adding grains, even though 99.9% of Mexican burrito recipes include them. Personally, I feel like grains take away from the flavour, adding more filler. So no, not even the healthiest ones, like quinoa (sorry quinoa!).

This recipe serves 3 - 4 people (or sometimes just us 2).

It's pretty straightforward, so watch the video, but I've also written the steps for you, just in case ;)

You need:

ready wraps

1 avocado

1 whole can of kidney beans

Smokey Cashew pieces

Tomato, capsicum - if desired

Lots of fresh green stuff


1. Chop the ingredients and mix together in a bowl. I like mixing the ingredients beforehand for a better flavour experience.

2. Fill up the wraps, make sure you fold the sides and seal them well, like in the video.

3. Fry for a couple of minutes on each side, until crispy. If you're wholefood plant-based, skip this step. Frying isn't necessary, but it gives you a nice, crispy texture, plus, the burritos will hold together better.

4. Enjoy the tastiness!
